PPA and Let’s Glo Photo Walks are partnering for a photo walk in Manhattan “On Fifth Avenue”. The walk is Saturday, April 13th, at 12:30 p.m. The walk, limited to 25 participants, is free of charge and is open to both PPA members and non-members. PPA is offering a special new member discount if you attend this photo walk and would like to join the club. A $75.00 discounted regular annual membership and $30.00 discounted student membership (with student ID.)
PPA is open to photographers – professional, amateur and beginner – of all levels. Founded by Clarence H. White in 1916, it is one of NYC’s oldest photography clubs.
Fifth Avenue stretches north from Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village to West 143rd Street in Harlem and is considered one of the most expensive and elegant streets in the world. The locations we will be passing during the photo walk include: the New York Public Library, 500 Fifth Avenue Building, Fred F. French Building, Rockefeller Center, Scribner’s and Sons Building, Saks 5th Avenue, International Building, 650 Fifth Avenue, Cartier, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, 666 Fifth Avenue, Saint Thomas Church, and many more landmark locations.
