PPA is saddened to learn of the death of lifetime member and past treasurer, Jack Levy. Jack died on Sunday, April 22, at 96. In April 2006, during our month-long 90th anniversary exhibit at Westbeth, Jack turned 84, and was going strong then, with a good number of images in that show, and for several years thereafter. His unflagging support, constant smile and sense of humor, and his fine photography have been and will remain something we miss very much. We extend our sincere condolences to his wife Naomi and family; Naomi has long been a good friend and frequent visitor to PPA.
There will be a memorial gathering in Manhattan this Friday, April 27, in the afternoon. Details can be found on the NYTimes online obituary listings.
