This regularly-scheduled presentation evening will take place at a special location – the Rick Wester Fine Art gallery at 526 West 26th, Ste. 417, in Chelsea’s gallery district. Their current exhibit: Ira W. Martin: The Family Archive is a significant opportunity for PPA members and guests to view rarely seen work of past PPA member and president, Ira W. Martin. Martin participated in the publication of the PPA annuals in the 20s, was president of PPA from 1927? – 1937, and for decades was the photographer for the Frick Collection in NYC.

Gallery owner Rick Wester and assistant Jessica Hunter, who will judge our January 10 competition, will discuss various aspects of the exhibit and of Martin’s photography with us. This is an unusual chance to get to know more about one of our very accomplished early members.
