A native of Tennessee and a long-term resident of New York City, Drinnon has nurtured an interest in photography since she was a teenager, and in 2009 she began studying photography more seriously, participating in workshops and classes through such venues as Maine Media Workshops and Vision Quest Photo Workshops. In 2015 and 2016 she completed the part-time Continuing Education and Advanced Continuing Education Track Programs of the International Center of Photography, and in 2018 left her 25-year career in financial services to pursue full-time study in ICP’s Creative Practices program, where she is a student today. Her work has been included in a number of juried exhibits, in addition to a curated solo show.
